Meet the Board

Rev. Chuck Treadwell, Rector and Chairperson

Chuck and his wife, Chris, are the parents of three children, two graduated from St. Paul’s and are now at Vanguard, and one who is still at St. Paul’s in the 4th grade. Chuck has been the Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for six years and is the Chair of the St. Paul’s School Board.

Shanna L. Mattson, President

Shanna Mattson grew up in Southlake, Texas.  A graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Accounting and Information Systems, she is a CPA and Certified Financial Planner.  She previously served as President of the Parents & Friends Organization and currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees.  She and her husband, Blake, have two children attending St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Meredith Boozer, Vice President

Meredith Boozer is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas Christian University and has her JD from Baylor University.  She has resided in Waco for most of her life, and serves the community as a local attorney and business owner.  Meredith has been on the Board for the past four years, and currently holds the title of Vice President . Meredith and her husband, Brad, have two children currently attending St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Kori Dorton, Secretary

Kori Dorton grew up in Wichita, Kansas.  She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Communications. She currently is the Area Vice-President for Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc.  She has served on the St. Paul’s Board of Trustees for the past three years and is currently serving as Secretary of the Board.  She and her husband, Todd, have two children attending St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Carroll Tucker, Treasurer

Carroll Tucker is a retired insurance company Sr. Vice President, former Vestry member, and Sr. Warden of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  He currently drives for Meals and Wheels and is in the process of becoming a CASA volunteer.  He and his wife, Retha, have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.  They have lived in Waco almost fourteen years.

Laura B. Indergard, Assistant Treasurer, ’83

Laura Indergard is from Waco, Texas  She holds a B.S. in Radio-TV-Film from TCU and an MBA from Baylor University. Laura is currently serving on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Administration for the Junior League of Waco.  She and her husband, Mike, have three children, two of which attend St. Paul’s Episcopal School  The Indergards are members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Amy Atkins, Trustee

Amy Akins is from Midland, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. She currently is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for Gold’s Gym. Amy and her husband David, have two children currently attending St. Paul’s.

Sheryl Carroll, Trustee

Sheryl Carroll grew up in South Texas and is a graduate of Baylor University with degrees in Economics, International Business and Management.  She works with her husband, Tom, at UBS Financial Services where she is Vice President of Investments.  Sheryl is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the Parents & Friends Organization.  The Carrolls have two children, Aubrey and Cade, attending St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Dr. Charlie Clark, DDS, Trustee

Dr. Charlie Clark, DDS, is from Comfort, Texas.  He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 1996, and went on to serve 12 years of military service in the US Army.  He is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and in Dental Anesthesiology by the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology.  Dr. Clark is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and is a local Rotarian.  He and his wife, Heidi, have one child attending St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.

Sharron Cutbirth, Trustee

Sharron Cutbirth is a Waco native.  She received her BA and MA from Baylor University, and she currently works as the Administrator for the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (C.A.R.D.).  She and her husband, Steven T. Cutbirth, D.D.S., have two grown daughters (Catherine and Caroline) who are graduates of St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.  Sharron is a leader in the community and has been involved in a number of community, state, and national initiatives, including Waco Cotton Palace, Waco Symphony Council, Junior League of Waco, The Sam Houston Society, and Children of the American Revolution.  She is also active in the parish of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and has previously served on the Board of St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.

Cindy Dietz, Trustee

Cindy currently serves as City of Waco Public Improvement District #1 Liaison. She is an active member of the parish of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and serves on the St. Paul’s Church Altar Guild. She has two grandchildren attending St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.

Bruce Evans, Parents & Friends President

Bruce Evans grew up in Spokane, Washington. He graduated with a B.A. in Intellectual History and a Music Minor from Fresno Pacific University, and has a Master’s of Library Science from the University of North Texas. Bruce works in the Baylor University Libraries as the Head of Cataloging and Music Cataloging Librarian. He is the current President of Parents & Friends. He and his wife, Terri, have a daughter that is a St. Paul’s graduate, and a son who is in 5th grade at St. Paul’s.

Ginna Lewis, Trustee, ’86

Ginna Lewis was born and raised in Waco. She and her husband, John, are both St. Paul’s alumni. They have two daughters who are current students at St. Paul’s. Ginna graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She is an active volunteer at St. Paul’s Episcopal School and she has served as the librarian, as well as the Alumni Relations coordinator. She and her family are members of St. Paul’s Church where she enjoys teaching Sunday School.

Susan Recks, Parents & Friends Representative

Susan Recks grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in social work.  She worked for a number of years in the medical field.  Susan and her husband, James, have two children who currently attend St. Paul’s Episcopal School.  Susan has served in a number of roles at the school, including President of Parents & Friends Organization, Auction Co-Chair, and Yearbook Chair. She is currently serving her fourth year on the Board of Trustees.

Kristen Roberson, Parents & Friends Representative

Kristen Roberson is originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, but also lived in Montana and Colorado as a child.  She attended Oklahoma State University where she studied political science, foreign language and accounting.  Kristen is married to Dave and has one child currently attending St. Paul’s.  Kristen is serving as the Parents & Friends Representative on the board.  She was co-chairing the 2010 “Shoot for the Stars” auction.

Mark Schneider, Trustee

Mark Schneider is a graduate of the Greater Cincinnati Culinary Arts Academy.  He is a Certified Executive Chef and he is currently a Master Instructor and Director of the Culinary Arts Program at Texas State Technical College.  He has received numerous culinary awards, including the Texas Chef’s Association 2008 Chef of the Year.  He and his wife, LeAnn, have two children attending St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School.

S. Boyce Brown, Vestry Representative, ’76

Boyce Brown is Chairman, President & CEO of Extraco Corporation.  Mr. Brown has been a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Church, and is a ’76 graduate of St. Paul’s Day School.
