Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal School. For over half a century, St. Paul’s has been a pillar of faith-based educational excellence in the greater Waco area. As a means of Christian outreach of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, St. Paul’s School has sent forth generations of graduates to the service and leadership of communities far and wide.

Among the many features that characterize the St. Paul’s experience is a rigorous academic program, spiritual education, and personalized attention to each student in small class sizes. Known as well for its varied exploratory classes, St. Paul’s proudly emphasizes the arts, foreign language, and physical education. Community service is likewise a fundamental aspect of our students’ education and formation.

Fully accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, St. Paul’s is additionally authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Characterized by challenging academic standards, developing higher order thinking skills, and fostering international awareness, IB is embedded with research-based best practice. Recognized throughout the world, IB is a hallmark of many of the most successful college-preparatory schools around the globe. In keeping with its tradition of educational innovation, St. Paul’s was the first authorized IB school in the Waco area and the first independent school in the Southwestern United States to earn authorization to offer the IB Primary Years Program (PYP).

The global skills, knowledge, and experiences our students acquire at St. Paul’s prepare them well for success in our increasingly interconnected planet. Educating children in mind, body, and spirit, St. Paul’s offers a holistic and spiritually-based educational experience taught in a nurturing environment. We welcome your interest in our school and look forward to sharing with you the blessings of the St. Paul’s experience and the exciting accomplishments of our students.
