Boys

4th grade through 6th grade boys are eligible to play on the St. Paul’s basketball teams.  Boy’s basketball has always exceeded expectations at St. Paul’s.  Last year’s 5th grade team had an undefeated season and is looking to advance deep in to this year’s 6th grade tournament.  This year’s 4th through 5th grade teams are looking forward to a winning year.  Go Pacers!

Coach Lance Wright has been involved with physical activity and conditioning all of his life. He has been a part of the St. Paul’s family for 7 years. He has a Bachelor’s of Exercise and Sport Science degree from Southwest Texas State University.

Girls

4th grade through 6th grade girls are eligible to play on the school’s basketball teams. The girls play in regular season games and tournaments in January and February each year. As part of the basketball program at St. Paul’s, the girls learn the fundamentals of the game and acquire a competitive spirit to help them achieve individual and team goals.

Blake Mattson has coached girls’ basketball for four years in a recreational league. This will be his third year to coach the girls basketball teams of St. Paul’s, along with his wife, Shanna.
