Fall 2011 Cheer Schedule

Hey all you P*A*C*E*R*S!

Are you ready to show your spirit?

SPIRIT MEMBERS

Are you a St. Paul’s K-3rd grade girl ready to jump and shout for the PACERS?  If so, you are welcome to join the squad.

GOALS

• Have Fun!
• Encourage PACER teams both at games and during school.
• Develop leadership and confidence as ambassadors of our great school at St. Paul’s and other community events.
• Build spirit by leading pep rallies and getting students excited about attending PACER sports events.

CAMP AND PRACTICE

A fun spirit camp is in the works for the fall.

PARADE

The spirit squad will participate in the Baylor Homecoming Parade.  The girls will have a blast cheering for the Bears and throwing pounds and pounds of candy!  We will need a truck and trailer as well as many parents to walk and ride with the girls.

GAME SCHEDULE

Do not feel pressured to attend every game but try to come to support the PACERS when you can – one or both games.  A team mom and a couple of girls will always be present because of sibling play. Squad will cheer at least one game per grade 4th, 5th and 6th and any play-off games.  A team mom or dad will sign-up for the game and sit with the squad.

UNIFORM

The cheer uniform includes the PACER shell, pleated skirt and a set of pom poms.  The other items are optional and may compliment the uniform.  In the colder months, the girls may wear a white turtle neck and navy or white tights or leggings under the skirt.  Trading uniforms with previous squad members is a great way to save money so ask around.

Returning squad members may not need any of the required uniform pieces.  If not ordering a new uniform please contact Melinda@hootsystems.com  to say… “I want to cheer!”

GOOOOOOOOOO PACERS!

Melinda Suchecki has enjoyed gymnastics and cheerleading since her childhood and just can’t seem to stop CHEERING!  As an ex-gymnast, cheerleader, and gym coach/owner the spirit squad is an excellent way for Melinda to share her love for these two sports with her daughter, Sage, and all the K- 3rd grade girls.
