Special Events in Fifth Grade
Camp Allen ~ September 12-14 ~  Students particiapte in an outdoor discovery program at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas. Classes include canoeing, Native American studies, herpetology, ornithology, initiatives, archeology, aquatics survey, night hike, etc.
Science Fair ~ April 2008~ Students will create a science experiment around a topic of their own choice. They will follow the steps of the scientific method and produce a final project on their experiment. This is generally a 10 week process and starts in late January.
