| Personal Information: My name is Shelly Negrete, First Grade Teacher, at St. Paul's Episcopal Day School. I am married to Kevin and I have two precious boys, Jake and Kooper. Jake will be in First Grade at St. Paul's this year and Kooper will be in the Two Year Old Class. I have a Yellow Labrador dog named Brutus. I am originally from Waco. I love to scrapbook, shop and I do a bit of amateur photography. | ||
| Educational Information:I attended and graduated from Midway ISD. From there, I went on to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. I completed my Student Teaching, through Baylor, at Midway Intermediate School. While at Stephen F. Austin I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading. | ||
| Professional Information: After college I taught in the Lewisville Independent School District. I taught Second Grade at Timbercreek Elementary School in Flower Mound, Texas. I have attended many intensive trainings some of which include The New Jersey Writing Project, The Texas Education Agency's Second Grade Teacher Reading Academy, and IBO PYP Level I and II Training. | ||
