Heather Luft
  Personal Information: I am beginning my eighth year as a teacher and my third year at St. Paul's Episcopal Day School.  I have taught a variety of grades, ranging form fifth grade to pre-kindergarten. All of my teaching experience has been in private school settings, and I have a great appreciation for all that private school has to offer. I grew up in Dallas, and have a wonderful family that still lives there.  I met my husband, Neil, while attending Baylor, and we have been married for six years.  He is a senior member of the Electronic Marketing staff at Baylor University as well as the owner of Internet Imagineering, a company specializing in website design/development.  We have a precious daughter, Emily, who is two, and she is in the two's class here at St. Paul's. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, cooking, music, and spending time with my family.
 
Educational Information: I graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.  I have a minor in Family and Consumer Science studies as well.
 
Professional Information: I have attended The National Reading Conference, IB One and IB Two training.  I have also attended Kindergarten Academy at Region Twelve.
