I hope you have had a chance to send back your enrollment contract for the 2008-2009 school year. It appears that we will have waiting lists in nearly every class through 3rd grade. While this is great news for the future of St. Paul’s, it does put some pressure on families to get contracts in by the date established by the admissions office. If you have a concern about your contract please contact Leah Delafield or me as soon as possible. If you know of prospective families with children in grades 4-6 please have them contact us so that we can get them enrolled as well. Thank you for your continued support of St. Paul’s as we continue to grow our school. Rich Webb

Attitude of the Week ~ Confidence
~ To be certain you can learn and make good choices~
Kindergarten ~ One of the favorite kindergarten units is going on right now - Ready to Publish has as its central idea "Authors and illustrators use their personal experiences and interests to create different forms of literature." The students have looked at several authors and discussed how their lives show through in what they write. The class has worked hard and is now finished writing a book. They will now begin illustrating the book and prepare to share it with the school.
4th Grade ~ The fourth graders have been learning about migration and immigration. Each student chose an American colony to research and they have discussed how the movement of people might change the lives of those who are moving as well as the people who are already there. They will end their unit with a Decisions, Decision software exploration in which they will be asked to make the decisions needed to form a new colony on the moon.
