Annual Fund Update

Our Annual Fund Campaign is in full swing. As of today, we have received 56% of our $75,000 goal. We would love to have 100% participation from all of our families. No amount is too small. To encourage participation, we are offering a free dress day and ice cream party to any class who reaches 100% participation. Many thanks to the following people who have already given to this year's annual fund:

Attitude of the Week ~ Integrity
~ To make choices that are fair and honest~

That's Not Fair! ~ Today in town meeting we discussed the word fair. Children learn to use the saying "that's not fair" at a young age, but it is often misused. We talked about situations that really aren't fair as compared to those that seem unfair, but are really results of choices we've made. We talked about fair meaning that each option has an equal chance of happening. So, a fair game is one in which both teams have an equal change of winning. What a great lesson for our kids to learn!

April Outreach Project

St. Paul’s School is uniting with St. Paul’s Church in an Outreach Project Each Month!

The Outreach Project for April is
“Pencils for Peace!”

The Junior ROTC program at A.J. Moore Academy High School is organizing a school supply drive for the schools in the Al Anbar province.   A young Waco Marine, Caleb Duty and his fellow Marines in Iraq are passing out pencils, paper, pencil sharpeners and other school supplies to the children as they travel through the little towns in this province to help as the community schools rebuild. If you would like to donate some supplies, please place them in the box in Parish Hall labeled “Pencils for Peace.”

Thank you for helping St. Paul’s School make a difference in our community!

Picture Day Information

Sports Pictures ~ If you participated in a sport or were on the Spirit Squad, come to school on Wednesday dressed in your sports uniform. These pictures will begin immediately after town meeting, so plan to be on time that morning!

Class Pictures ~ Class pictures will be taken of each class. Students should wear their dress uniform. All students should wear their blue uniform shirt, boys should wear khaki pants and a brown belt, girls should wear the plaid skort (2s and 3s may wear khaki). Students who were taking sports pictures should bring their dress uniform to change into. Please make sure to pack all components of the uniform!

Make-up Pictures ~ Students who have signed up for make-up and new student photos may bring an extra change of clothes. These will be the last photos taken. Parents of small children needing a make-up photo may wait in the parish hall or come back later in the morning to help their children change.

No sibling or other individual pictures will be taken on this day!
