Annual Fund Update

Parents, Grandparents and Friends,

Just one more reminder to please contribute to this year’s Annual Fund campaign.  We are at over 80% of our goal and NEED your help.  If you have already given, a heartfelt “THANK YOU.” If you have not already given, please consider making a donation to our school. Each year the annual fund helps to offset what we are not able to charge in tuition. Your contribution in any amount truly makes a difference.

Most Sincerely,
Loren Schwartz

Congratulations to a St. Paul's Star!

Hannah Burnett, our very own fourth grader, was asked by her viola teacher to audition for the Suzuki Youth Orchestra of the Americas and was not only selected to perform with youth from all over America, but she was awarded First Chair or Principal of the viola section! The orchestra will perform at the Suzuki Association of the Americas Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 21-26.

Hannah has been studying viola for seven years with the Central Texas String Academy and currently plays with the advanced orchestra comprised mainly of high school students. Her achievements are a result of many hours of practice. Hannah practices daily between 30 minutes to an hour and has not missed a day of practice in three years!

This summer she will participate in the Colorado Suzuki Institute and has been selected through audition to perform in the Honors Solo Recital. Her cellist brother has also been chosen through audition to participate.

On Tuesday, May 20, at Town Meeting, Hannah will perform a movement of a viola concerto while simultaneously hula hoping.  Come see this and send her off to Minnesota with lots of St. Paul’s support.
