Sight Word of the Week
We will be identifying lower case alphabet letters and beginning to read simple sight words. This week our sight words are: go, up and down . We will read and discuss the sight word book “We Go”. We will review previous sight words: this, no, it, have, big, small, he, she,we, I, see, here, is, a, an, and the.

Environmental Print

Please look through magazines, newspapers, food labels, etc. for the sight words of the week: go, up, and down . Cut out two or three samples of the words and glue them in the Environmental Print Journal on the designated page.

If you can’t find the words in large print, cut out the section and have your child circle the word with a marker.

The class will be working on the PreK TechKnowledge program.  This program guides the students through basic keyboarding (finding letters and numbers on the keyboard). Each student can work at their own pace through this interactive program that develops computer and technology literacy. We are also learning how to use the mouse, and to open and close computer software programs.
