Personal Information: I am so excited to be teaching Second Grade this year!  After growing up in Illinois and graduating from Springfield Lutheran High School in 1999,  I began my college career at Cottey College.  Cottey is a junior women's college that is owned by the P.E.O. Sisterhood.  While at Cottey I was introduced to my husband, Nick, who was attending Baylor University.  After my first trip to Texas, I knew my future would be here.  I then transfered to Baylor and began my studies as an elementary teacher.  In 2004, Nick and I were married in Palmer Lake, Colorado.  We returned to Waco for my graduation and I began searching for my first teaching job. 

In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, paper crafting of various sorts, and playing with my dog, Sami, and my two cats, Coach & Isabelle.  I enjoy going to Baylor Football games. 

I am truely looking forward to spending this year as your child's teacher and am anticipating many wonderful memories will be made.
