Next Wednesday is our Famous Person Museum!!! We will be giving our speeches in a “museum” setting in the Parish Hall from 9-11. Students should be busy writing speeches and planning costumes and props. |

Weekly Learning Experiences
Math
We are closing out our Place Value Unit with a test on Wednesday. For the remainder of the year we will “hop around” in units 11 & 12 which covers multiplication and reviews previous concepts.
Language Arts
We are working on adjectives in Grammar. For the remainder of the year we will be Reading Charlotte’s Web (Read Aloud)and will be working in “Literature Circles”. We will be looking out for adjectives as we read as well as story elements (setting, characters, plot, etc.). We will also be reading
Other Science and Social Studies
We are continuing our reading/research/speech writing/visual making on famous people. Remember to help with costume and speech writing at home. We will present a ”Famous Person Museum” on the 23rd.
Art
Music
We will be composing melodies with do-mi-so.
Physical Education
Monday we will play Dinosaur tag. This tag game is very good for our Cardio-respiratory fitness. Tuesday we will play Ultimate Pin Guard, which is very good for our throwing and aiming. Wednesday we will be doing a Chicken relay which will be working the muscles in our core. Thursday will be our exercise day and Friday will be our free day.
