Reading The Golden Goblet, final chapter questions. Read Bronze Bow, chapter 1.

Math We worked with Percents on pages 157-159, changing from fractions to decimals to percents. Finish 159 if not finished.
Social Studies

We discussed the key concept of Lest We Forget, defined civilization, and discussed why and how a civilization forms.  We looked at the ancient civilizations that we will study.

 
Science

Culminating activity for Universe unit:  Use satellite technology in computer lab:  GoogleEarth to look at pyramids and other places

We reviewed student Inquiries and had answered all.  We wrote our unit Reflections.

We read The Atom, E1.  Students learned about protons, neutrons, and electrons.  They answered questions.

 
Other   Look for red take-home folders and forms.

Finish chapter 2.
Grammar/Writing    
Spelling   Due Thursday morning.  Test on Thursday.
Math Students finished 160 math boxes and did reflection on 161.  Then they took a math quiz on simplifying fractions and changing them to decimals and percents.  
Social Studies Judaism, p. 93-notes on foldable turned in.  
Science We began a Chemistry notebook by taking notes over The Atom and answering student questions about atomic, nuclear, etc.  We began Chemical Elements, Periodic Table-E12.
