Special Events in Sixth Grade
Mo Ranch ~ September 25-28 ~ The sixth grade class spends four days and three nights at Mo Ranch in Hunt, Texas, participating in the Environmental Leadership Program. They learn about nature, build teamwork, and take on the challenge of high rope elements.
Advent Service ~ December 20 ~ The sixth graders serve as the worship leaders for this special Christmas church service.
Washington, D.C. ~ March 25-29~ Sixth graders have the opportunity to tour many of our nation's historical landmarks during a trip to D.C. Fundraisers throughout the year help to offset the cost of this trip.
Dessert Theater ~ TBA ~ Each year, sixth graders are given the opportunity to present a musical dramatic presentation. If the students as a class choose to do this, it takes place in May.
Graduation ~ May 30 ~ A special graduation ceremony is held at the end of the year to honor the sixth grade class.
