Weekly Learning Experiences

Math

This week, we will explore rotation symmetry.  Students will also continue to practice their pre-algebra skills, solving more complex algabraic expressions.

Language Arts

We will be reading our in class novel, Hoot.

This week’s spelling unit is Unit 35: Latin roots fic, fac, fec, fy.

Our Greek/Latin root is terr, terra, geo= land, earth.  This week will be the last spelling and vocabulary for the year.

IB Unit of Inquiry

We will continue working on Exhibition this week.  Students will work on their presentation which will be next Monday, May 21.

Other Science and Social Studies

 We will move from our studies of the Reformation into the age of exploration and the Scientific Revolution.

Art

Music

We will continue working on our play.  The play will be May 15th at 7pm.
