 ANNUAL FUND

As parents, we cherish the milestones that occur in the lives of our children. We celebrate each accomplishment and treasure them in our hearts. These crucial steps of development build the balanced foundation that shapes a bright future. By educating the whole child in mind, body, and spirit, St. Paul’s is unique in its approach to education. Emphasis on a rigorous curriculum encompassed within an IB framework, diverse co-curriculars, confidence building, and spiritual development provide each child an education unlike any other in Central Texas. St. Paul’s provides the experiences and support that allows its students to have the confidence to take chances and try new things.

Like most independent schools, St. Paul’s relies on income beyond tuition to fully support its faculty and educational programs. Our tuition rate covers only 79% of the total cost of educating each student. One of the key sources of this additional income is the Annual Fund, which supports a portion of the school’s operating budget every year. Since 1956, St. Paul’s has been blessed with a wonderful tradition of giving. This important tradition continues today as parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, parishioners of St. Paul’s Church, and friends support our school’s Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund is a top fundraising priority because of the critical role it plays in the school’s operations. A rigorous progressive education, outstanding co-curricular classes (art, music, science, Spanish, technology, P.E., chapel, and Christian Ed beginning at age 2, performing arts, leadership development, library, community service, competitive faculty compensation and benefits, professional growth & development, and campus maintenance benefit from Annual Fund dollars.

Our Annual Fund goal this year is $75,000. A second and equally important goal, however, is 100% participation on the part of faculty & staff, Board of Trustees, and families. Foundations, corporations and individual donors can be strongly motivated to support an institution through the example set by the parent body, as this demonstrates belief in the school and its programs. This is why all independent schools aim for a 100% parent participation in the Annual Fund.

Your gift, therefore, does not need to be a large one to have a significant impact on the school. In fact, gifts to the Annual Fund range from the very small donation to large contributions and beyond. ANY AMOUNT CONTRIBUTED IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
