Jamie Burnett
  Personal Information: This is my 5th year at St. Paul's but my second year in the 3rd grade. I have a wonderful husband, Joel who teaches religion at Baylor. I am the proud mother of Hannah (4th grade) and Wilson (2nd grade) who attend St. Paul's. We have a dog, rabbit, and hermit crab that enrich our home life. I am an avid reader and a compulsive crossword puzzle fan and I will only complete them in ink. I am a connoisseur of  dark chocolate, Indian/Mediterranean food, and Coke Zero. I also enjoy listening to a variety of music, traveling, taking walks, and biking with my family.
 
Educational Information: I graduated with a BA in Elementary/Early Childhood from Louisiana College in 1990. I am certified to teach 2 year olds through 6th grade.
 
Professional Information: I have taught in public and private schools in Louisiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, Maryland, and Texas. I have attended conferences on behavior modification and Love and Logic. I attended an IB conference on Internationalism and most recently attended IB training on Inquiry. In August I gave a co-presentation on Inquiry to the St. Paul's faculty at our back-to-school meetings.
