Upcoming Events:

May 16 - Track and Field Day - This will be a regular school day for the twos.  We do not participate in this.

                All School Picnic - At 11:00, we will be having the all school picnic on the playground.  This will be lunch for all students. All parents and TTH students and parents are invited to come.  Your child may leave with you after lunch or stay for nap, if he/she normally stays.      Wear a St. Paul's t-shirt to school this day.

May 29 - Last Day of School - All students in the twos class are invited to come be with the whole class for a last hurrah before we all take off for the summer.   All students will be dismissed at 11:45.  There will be no after school care this day.  Wear your end of school t-shirt!!!

Announcements:

We have made our own version of the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  We used all 10 of the colors that we have studied this year.  They are so cute.  Next we will make a beautiful butterfly to go with the caterpillar. 

Since we are talking about bugs and looking for bugs on the playground, we have been reading three fun books about bugs.  They are: Ten Wriggly Wiggly Caterpillars by Debbie Tarbett, Ten Little Ladybugs by Melanie Gerth and Good Night, Sweet Butterflies by Melanie Gerth.  They have fun illustrations and raised bugs for texture.  They are great counting books.

We have finished working on our Color and Number Books.  They will be sent home on the last day of school along with any other papers and such that we have accumulated.

May 12 - Jackson

May 19 - Samuel

We will be doing clap counting from 1-20 in English and 15 Spanish, plus counting things in the classroom.  We will even count to 20 while we wash our hands.  We work on number recognition as we put numbers on the calendar.

We sing the ABC's everyday.  We sing many fun songs in English and Spanish.  We have made it through all the first letters of all the friends in the class.  We will continue to review the letters until the end of school.

We are working on our color and shape review heading toward the end of the school year.  We have finished making a book with our colors, shapes and numbers 1 - 10.   We started with black and ended with red.
